Shannon Partrick has been named head softball coach at Brooks High School for the 2017 season. Partrick replaces Jeff Peek, who resigned after 3 years as head coach. Coach Partrick served as an assistant coach last year and has coached travel and rec softball for the past 8 years, including a championship season with the 2015 8U Bama Bombers. Coach Partrick and his staff boast 33 years of experience in coaching softball. They are committed to make the PRIDE strong by focusing on Pride, Responsibility, Integrity, Discipline, and Enthusiasm as a team. “I am excited to take over the Brooks High Softball Program,” Partrick said. “Coach Peek has done a great job laying a foundation for success with the upcoming season. We had a very young team last year and have only 4 seniors coming back this year.” Partrick and his wife Laurel have 2 daughters Addy and Ellie. The Lady Lions open the 2017 season on February 23 at home against Lexington at 4:30 pm.
