Brooks started slow, and couldn’t make up the lost ground despite gaining momentum in the second quarter in a 73-29 loss to defending state champion Lauderdale County. Katie Moss and Grace West each led the Lions with 8 pts each. Lauderdale County started out hot, and stayed hot leading 30-3 at the end of the first. Their early lead allowed Lauderdale County to share playing time. Channing Gafford led the Tigers with 23pts. The Lady Lions return Monday night at home in a rescheduled game against Lawrence County.
